On December 8, after a NON peaceful evacuation of the enclaved people on the northern border of Greece, in the improvised camp set up in Idomeni, more than 2,000 refugees and immigrants were transferred to Taekwondo public facilities in Athens.
A few days later, riot police took, in their sleep, 123 Moroccans, led them to the Directorate of Foreigners. They took fingerprints and the legal papers that some of them had, forced them to sign detention notices and a deportation paper. The whole process was entirely unlawful because the interpreter did not even speak Greek! It is worth mentioning that the reason behind the 123 arrests was their illegal presentation in Athens, even though they had been transferred there by the Greek State!
The migrants were taken to the former camp of 6th Infantry Regiment of Corinth, currently an immigrants' concentration camp. The latest update is that the number of those arrested who are currently in this concentration camp is about 250 immigrants. It is worth noting that it took only a few months for the Greek government to align themselves to the mandates of the European Union and reopen the concentration camp that had been closed from the same government at the first time of its election at January 2015.
On Sunday, December 27, we call a gathering and march to Corinth's concentration camp, at 12.00.
Gathering at the Municipal Theatre of Corinth, Damascus and Kolokotronis str.
