The fight continues!
Demonstration outside the amphitheatre of Athens 9.84, in solidarity to the Syrian refugees.
Thursday 18. Dec. at 16.30 in the amphitheatre of Athens 9.84 among other speakers Kaminis and Sirigos are invited to speak during an event for the International Migrants Day 18/12.
Just few days ago with the orders of Kamini and Syrigos the police brutally evicted the Syrian refugees (among them women and children) from Syntagma square, where for 25 days Syrian refugees were protesting in demand to what is fair and obvious: asylum and protection with full rights for free movement in the European union.
Kaminis as mayor of Athens and Syrigos as the General Secretary of Population and Social Cohesion, Ministry of Interior not only did not fulfil their promises, especially the one to provide shelter to the refugees, but slandered and suppressed the struggle of refugees for dignity and life.
The Syrian refugees and the solidarity assembly together call on Thursday at 16.30 for a protest outside the amphitheatre of Athens 9.84 Pireos 100, Technopolis- Gazi, during this event-parody.
Mockery and hypocrisy have their limits. The International Migrants Day belongs to the damned of this earth, the immigrants and refugees and not to the protagonists of the anti-immigration and anti-refugee politics.
Solidarity is our weapon
